The Review of November & December – Recertification ISO and start of renovation
Published on: 16 January 2024, Rijssen
In this section each month we look back at the previous month. We highlight one of the highlights and discuss it in more detail. A great project, a new machine or a special event; this is the November and December Flashback.
ISO 9001 Recertification
The month of November began at Van Geenen with a recertification process. Multiple visits from experts of TÜV NORD Nederland were made to conduct inspections. In November, the joyous news arrived: we have successfully passed the recertification for the ISO 9001 standard. This certificate is the ultimate proof that Van Geenen consistently strives for quality, customer satisfaction, and improvement. We are very proud of this renewed certificate, which we have held since 1995.

Kick-off for the renovation
The ‘new cleanroom’ project was extensively announced in the previous review. Naturally, this will take several months, but we are proud to announce that the starting signal was given in 2023. The first machine was relocated, marking the official beginning of the renovation. We are pleased to have taken the first step in December!
