Terugblik juli en augustus – Tafeltennis, buizen slijpen en transformaties
Published on: 11 September 2023, te Rijssen
In this section each month we look back at the previous month. We highlight one of the highlights and discuss it in more detail. A great project, a new machine or a special event; this is the July and August Flashback.
Debutant Van Geenen
The month of July kicked off with the annual company tournament of Table Tennis Association Rijssen. For the first time, a team from Van Geenen also participated. Unfortunately, the debutant duo was eliminated in the group stage and did not win any prizes, but it was still a successful evening.

Tube Polishing
External tube grinding and polishing? No problem at Van Geenen! These tubes with diameters of a whopping 577 millimeters and 677 millimeters were processed on our brand-new, multifunctional machine last month, resulting in this beautiful end product.

‘Holiday Snapshot’
Even during the holiday period, we witnessed some remarkable transformations within our premises. And we can’t get enough of them, whether they involve extremely large products or smaller ones. These stainless steel components arrived untreated (1) and left after a significant transformation (2, 3, and 4). Such holiday snapshots make us very happy.

Due to the vacation period, we have been operating with limited capacity in recent weeks. We are now back at full strength, and everything is back to ‘normal’ as you are accustomed to from us: opening hours, delivery times, and contact with one of our team members.
