Stainless Steel Mirror Sheets

We distinguish two aspects when using stainless steel mirror sheets, aesthetics play an important role in the Superyacht industry, Architecture, Art and Interior Design. Top-class stainless steel polished sheets and components are highly valued and Van Geenen is optimally equipped to provide this service with many grinding and polishing machines. Cleanability and hygiene are of integral importance in the tank and appliance, medical and pharmaceutical industries. Van Geenen offers a solution with smooth, polished sheets and low roughness value.

Our machines can polish cold-rolled 2B sheets as well as thick hot-rolled 1D sheets. Especially the latter is distinctive and requires a lot of knowledge and experience, given the rough surface of these sheets and its many imperfections.

During the intensive pre-grinding process, the mill scale is ground off and the surface smoothed out. After this pre-processing, the sheet is polished mechanically to a perfect top-quality mirror sheet according to the specifications of the client and quality guarantees mentioned above.
